Trainer Les Ross has signalled he could be a force to be reckoned with in upcoming juvenile races after Mishani Miss (Denman) won at Eagle Farm.
The filly finished strongly on Saturday to claim top honours in the Makers Mark 2-Year-Old over 1000 metres.
“She has been impressing me, but I was worried when she was an emergency,” Ross said. “In the end we scratched our other horse Hancora Field, who is heading to a race next Saturday.
“She didn’t have much luck when fifth first-up at the Sunshine Coast.”
